Lucknow: On 13th April, 2026, La Martiniere Girls’ College celebrated its annual Middle and Senior School Prize Day, marking a year of dedication and achievement. The evening commenced with the lady Principal of the college, Mrs. A. Dass, welcoming the gathering .
The presentation of awards to Middle and Senior School students formed the heart of the programme, each honour acknowledging consistent effort and commitment.
Distinguishing themselves beyond academics, Shining for LMGC, Vaibhavi Singh amongst others, received recognition for their musical talents as they cleared their ABRSM exams with merits. In sports, Swasti Chandra represented India in the World Table Tennis Youth Contender, while Tanvi transcended in shooting, winning a regional gold medal and silver at the SGFI Games, qualifying for the Indian Team Trials.
Rianna Jessica Dass of Class 6, Sidra Fatima of Class 7 and Jasleen Kaur Sahota of Class 8 were awarded Best Student in their respective classes, while Hansuja Acharjya was acclaimed as the Best Student in Middle School. Rianna shone bright as she clinched the trophy of the Most Promising Swimmer of the Year. Excelling in school activities across all domains, earned her the Rising Star Scholarship.


Prisha Agarwal was awarded Best Student of Class 9 along with Yashasvi Anika Tandon who was recognised as the Best Student of Class 10. Shreyasi Jha achieved the title of Best Student of Class 11 while Yashasvi Saraf, the former College Captain, was acknowledged as the Best Student of Class 12. The prestigious Lifetime Award was awarded to Mrs Madhu Joshi meanwhile Mrs. Shruti Tagore received the Extraordinary Service Award. The coveted Cock House Trophy was awarded to Cornwallis House.
The esteemed Chief Guest, Dr. Indu Shahani, President of ATLAS SkillTech University and former Sheriff of Mumbai, graced the occasion. She shared her life experiences, emphasizing how courage, discipline, and determination can achieve remarkable things, and urged everyone to pursue their dreams despite challenges.
Principal A. Dass, gave a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing her deep gratitude to the students and staff who made the year so memorable.
